Peptides for Weight Loss

Peptides are an exciting new tool to optimize weight loss and physical performance. One of the most common uses of peptide therapy is as a safe, effective way to speed up weight loss. Countless people have found that peptides help them lose stubborn pounds that have refused to budge despite diet and exercise.

In California, select subcutaneous peptide injections and lozenges are available for home use. At VitaLab, we offer the following peptides for weight loss:

CJC 1295/Ipamorelin

This is a combo of two peptides and increases HGH (human growth hormone) produced in the body. These peptides offer many benefits including improved quality of sleep, better recovery from workouts, increased mental clarity, and overall improved body composition. Studies show that, when applied under the skin, this peptide resulted in increased levels of growth hormone, as well as insulin-like growth factor 1.

Semaglutide + B-12

Semaglutide is a GLP-1 agonist and was first approved in the U.S in 2017 as a method to improve glycemic control in patients with Type 2 diabetes. Recently, once weekly high-dose Semaglutide has shown to be an effective solution for patients who are having difficulty losing weight. Vitamin B12 has been shown in studies to assist with the tolerance of treatment with GLP-1 agonists. Two common adverse reactions associated with Semaglutide are nausea and Hypophagia. These reactions have been shown to be significantly reduced when used along with Vitamin B12.

TTA-200

Tetradecylthioacetic acid, or TTA, is a non-beta-oxidizable fatty acid analog, which regulates lipid homeostasis. It has been shown to prevent high fat diet-induced adiposity and insulin resistance. TTA has also been shown to decrease blood pressure and exert a mild antioxidant effect.

Sermorelin/Glycine

Sermorelin works to burn fat by triggering the creation and release of hormones by the pituitary gland. Glycine plays a vital role in the control of hypothalamic-pituitary function, specifically impacting growth hormone release. Together, these peptides make the ultimate combination to increase IGF1 and help your body to burn fat.

Oxytocin

Oxytocin is a hormone created by the pituitary gland that acts as a chemical messenger in the brain. It controls different body processes, including eating behavior and metabolism in humans. Long-term administration of oxytocin has been shown to lead to sustained weight reduction by reduced food intake and increased energy expenditure for further results.

Metformin/DHEA/Sermorelin

When combined, these three peptides work together to boost weight loss. Metformin has been used to control blood sugar, aid in weight loss, and increase fertility in those with PCOS. DHEA levels decline as we age, which can lead to Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, and more which is why it is important to have increased levels. Sermorelin is a synthetic hormone peptide that has a similar structure to a growth hormone-releasing hormone. It is used to improve hormonal balance, burn fat, enhance energy, increase muscle, and improve sleep quality.

AOD-9604

AOD-9604 is a peptide fragment that has the fat-reducing power of human growth hormone without the negative side effects. Studies have shown that it does not result in any of the adverse effects associated with hGH treatments.

Do Peptides Burn Fat?

Different peptides work in different ways to support weight loss. Some stimulate growth hormone release, which affects metabolism and fat loss. Others inhibit appetite or affect insulin sensitivity, which supports fat loss in a different way.

How long does it take to lose weight on Peptides?

In general, people use peptide therapy for 3 months. After that time, their doctor may recommend they cycle to a different peptide, or a non-peptide treatment to support ongoing weight loss.
